There are two types of ghusl:

2) The sufficient ghusl, which is performing ghusl with the obligatory only.
A Description of the Complete Ghusl
1) To make intention in the heart
2) The person should say bismillaah
3) Wash hands three times
4) Wash the private parts using left hand
5) Cleanse hands
6) Then the person performs the complete wudoo (ablution)
7) Pour water over head three times, making sure to wash roots of hair with the water
8) Wipe (rub) body with hands to allow water to reach each part.
The mother of the believers, Maymoonah (radiyaallahu anhaa) mentioned:
Scholars recommend to wash the feet at the end of the ghusl. They mention, if the place is not clean then wash the feet at the end, but if the place is clean then it is recommended to wash the feet with the wudoo’.
As for a woman who has ended al-haidh or nifaas, she should un-tie her hair (al-Bukhari). However if she is in state of janaabah, then there is no need to un-tie the hair, but water must reach the roots of the hair.
